(SEK 1,600 million) over a three year period.

Within the agreement Ericsson will continue to be the principle
vendor of D-AMPS IS-136 wireless network infrastructure and services
to Rogers Cantel in Canada. Under the terms of the agreement it
could also be extended annually for up to two additional years.

"The history of success between Rogers Cantel and Ericsson goes back
to 1985," says Charles Hoffman, President and CEO of Rogers Cantel.
"As we move forward with our Digital PCS network, we will provide an
increasing number of services and products to our customers, and
Ericsson software and hardware will be integral to our success."

"We are very pleased to have renewed our agreement with Rogers
Cantel," says Brian Barry, President & CEO of Ericsson
Communications Inc. "We view Rogers Cantel as a key strategic
partner, not only for Ericsson in Canada, but for Ericsson

using D-AMPS digital services.
