Michael,

I wrote to her last night. She said virtually the same thing. I responded and told her that a fully loaded TC unit has 12 modem cards (48 modems) two PRI cards, costs 30,000 dollars so the per port price is $625.

To state in an article that the price is $3,120/port without any explanation is extremely misleading since most of that cost is for the chassis/power supply/PRI card. Incidently, the reason why the TNT appears to have a lower price/port in her example is that their modem cards each have <<many>> modems.

You should be less polite to her than I was when you respond. She isn't doing anyone any favors writing stuff like that. She should've printed the fully loaded $/port value.
