Larry, there's a great Winston Churchill quote that I'm about to mangle on that one: "If you're not a liberal when you're twenty, then you have no heart. If you're not a conservative when you're forty, then you have no head." I'm a thirty year-old moderate, so I guess I'm on trend <g> I've been thinking about trying to run some studies on the correlation of individual $SOX stocks w/ the $SOX & $SPX avgs. on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. Basically sort of asking "in this current market and sector has strength/weakness continued as strength/weakness or do the laggards somehow catch up?" I guess the whole theory of "relative strength" says the strong continue to be strong, but I thought it might be interesting. Any promise? Good trading, Tom
