Anyway, you are right, I am hanging on. In fact I made my final moves today by placing the final amount of uncommitted money in my retirement fund into Fidelity Select Energy Services Mutual Fund. So what are we talking about here? -Pure oil in my stock portfolio (except for QCOM) -80% of retirement funds in energy WHY? Because I do NOT like to invest in sectors that are overpriced. What is overpriced? My definition is anything selling at a PE 1.5 - 2x over their possible, future growth rate. Can we say Cisco? Can we say Intel? Can we say the Blue Chips? Can we say internet stocks. Frankly, I don't give a damn about what the market is saying by bidding up these companies. I own undervalued corporations with stellar fundamentals and they just happen to be in the only sector that exhibits that now...energy service. FWIW I'm seein' green for the first time in my portfolio in 4 months. WHY? I bought all those horrible energy stocks last week. Oh my! What a concept. Buy low, sell high. It ain't high yet.
