UnInstaller Uninstalls System Restore Settings
McAfee QuickClean Feature Cleans Out Critical Windows Me Registry Keys

McAfee QuickClean users doing a little spring cleaning are losing their System Restore points in the process, and are losing the ability to create future System Restore points. QuickClean is sold as a standalone product (currently in release 1.02), and is included as a component of McAfee UnInstaller (currently in release 6.01). In both cases, like an enthusiastic novice gardener, the QuickClean feature goes looking for weeds and pulls out a few live plants in the process.
