At the expense of a somewhat smaller PC market, at least in terms of overall units.

Ten,

I've never been a fan myself of the business strategy of lower margins on lower prices can be made up with volume. I was with a semiconductor company in early 80's, right smack in the middle of those those days of $2,000 chips, and $5,000 computers, and let me tell you something, during those days, the company was making money hand over fist. And the PC Market at those prices was WAY smaller than it is now.

Semi

And the Stock was Waaaaaayyyy Cheaper too..... Split Split Split Split Split..... whatever, adjusted price per share $0.25
:-)
