Thanks Jim, I've printed & will read the post.

My core holdings actually are Lucent & Ericy, and am confident
that I can give them minimal attention when I am traveling.

I also picked up a few shares of NT -- time will tell if that
was a wise move.

Also hold Ascend shares, which were obtained when Ascend bought
Cascade Communications.
One of these days, I shall consider selling Ascend and picking
up more Lucent.
