I said: "Christianity is no more "historical" than any other religion."

You said: "That is an ignorant statement."

Of course, you are being absurd as well as rude. To suggest that other religious adherents ought to be considered as ignorant because they believe their religion to be more historically grounded than Christianity is to expose your bigotry and intolerance, and is to highlight the very simple-minded arrogance and righteousness which informs the unceasing bloody and moronic clash of religious claims of superiority which we are witness to on a daily basis.

Canadian man claims all religions less historical than Christianity and believers not believing him are “ignorant”.

“Jesus is God, Jesus is real. Shiva, Buddha, Allah, Zoroaster, or Manitou. They are all the same--ignorant ideas…claims Gregory Gallister, a Holier than Holy milkman in this tiny Ontario town of Gorse. “There is no historical basis for Krishna”, he tells his neighbor, Ranjit, across their wooden fence. “Jesus was born of a virgin you primitive ignorant ahistorical ninny."

“He is always calling everyone ignorant”, says Barney Mozac as he serves coffee at the local donut shop where he has worked for the past decade. He tells us we will burn forever in Hell and gnash our teeth. He often starts to wail and beats his tiny fists against his chest. “Burn in Hell! Ignorant, demon-filled dung wardens.”

Alfred Knof lives across the street from Gregory and like most of the residents of this tiny hamlet, has felt the righteous wrath of Gregory Glassiter. “I was just lighting an outside shrine to Krishna to burn some incense and pray, when Mr. Glassiter raced into my yard and started screaming away at me”, remembered Alfred as he stroked his silvery beard and recounted his frightening encounter. “You ignorant straw man”, he shouted at me. “Krishna is not historical. He is nothing but an ignorant myth. Little baby Jesus was born of a virgin. Why don’t you religious nut-balls read the Bible and flood your ignorance with the light of Truth?” Then he violently ripped off my 3-faced Rudraksha beads. "His eyes were wild looking and his cheeks were flecked with foam. It really scared my two young daughters,” said Alfred. Then he grabbed a handful of mud and spit into it and mashed it into little Jillian’s eyes. “Unclean Spirit, BEGONE,” he shrieked at her. It took us hours to get the mud out of her eyes.

Israel Cohen is another who had the misfortune of crossing the path of the righteous and Holy Gregory. “I was putting gas in his car when he suddenly noticed the Star of David around my neck,” said Israel. Immediately he became enraged and began to flail his righteous fists all about my head, shoulders, and chest,” remembered Israel while gingerly rubbing obvious bruises. “He said I was an ignorant ignorant man who would meet Jesus and be taught a lesson for eternity. He said I could be saved only if I went to a Christian church and ate the body of Christ and drank His blood. Well, Hell’s bells. I may believe in eating kosher, but it bothered me that he would call me ignorant ignorant. Then he said that my religion was less “historical” than his because Paul encountered a talking light. Shucks, we had those even before Rome was invented.

Other sources in the community report similar encounters with Gregory. “According to him we are all ignorant,” says Ronald Sawatsky, a follower of the Dalai Lama. “Every religion but his is based on myth and lies, and the evil deceit and treachery of Satan. I mean he believes that language differentiation started from the tower of babel where God planted new "languages" in all their heads. And that demons ride around in people and "casting them out" is a miracle. And a thousand similar absurdities, superstitions, and contradictions. How do you rationalize with a guy who believes such stuff?"
