Richard, better avoid those pesky Canadian stocks, too much country risk according to the South Africans: Gold Fields head sees more mining risk in Canada than S Africa Toronto--Mar 8--Christopher Thompson, chairman and CEO of South Africa's Gold Fields Ltd, said Tuesday that he believes mining companies face greater political risk in developing a project in Canada than they would in South Africa.
