HI harvey,

I never heard Ted suggest or ask about me using stops.

My focus back in those days was exclusively in the low level accumulations.

I only dreamed about having the funds for a high level consolidation still do worry about them.

Stocks like the Mag 7, even with great earnings power scare me off as I consider them too risky and speculative.

That being said, Ted did a lot of commodities trading.

In trading commodities, I never used stops and got burned good in sugar and never returned to commodities - even though we made money on 4 contracts but sugar clipped me hard.

True story, confessions are good for the soul. <smile>

Sorry I really do not have an answer on Ted's position.

I did hang tough on the never take a loss, and yes you sure can be forced to.

I made a double on Clabir and lost it all when they went BK. It was the first stock I has 10,000 shares of.

I learned to read the balance sheet after that.

Bob
