Most people who have alarms don't always set them.

I've got one that, if tampered with, automatically notifies the police, if the phone lines are cut, it does the same. It was expensive to have installed and costly each month for monitering, but, after going through a robbery and attack 9 years ago, I wouldn't have anything else.

Power outages do cause problems though.....<g>
