Robert, I use Regal which is approximately the same as ETrade pricewise. However, as an ex-ETrade customer let me assure you, Regal's service and personal attention is far more profitable. Yes, profitable. I had numerous instances of placing option orders in between bid/ask and got them filled. BTW, you always deal with live broker @ Regal. After a couple of months, these guys will just recognize you by voice. Also, I got a number of valuable tips from Regal's brokers on various things. And another important thing is Regal does buy/writes unlike E*Trade. Also, first stock trade is free.
