tom, burlap had 16 mb prices at $12 to $15 right now according to his analysis. if i'm in denial for calling him and his estimates hogwash then name me denial. btw, i agreed with burlap that mu would have a great q last q - why? dram pricing was up. dram's down 25%+, burlap's estimate is for 50% eps increase this q - the guy is an idiot who lucked out b/c the koreans held back inventory and went to 64 mb. as for everyone being caught off guard by an increase in demand - hello? has anybody looked at amat near its ALL TIME HIGHS? why, b/c companies are building fabs to increase capacity. historical performance is no guarantee of future performance.
