While we're sitting around awaiting news from/about PRLN from the current S-B meetings, I thought that it would be interesting to post this URL as an update to the whole area of progress in alternative medicine, including traditional chinese medicines. This is not a new site to those of us who have been around here for awhile, but it remains a great way to get an overall view of where the action is. You'll find news from/about PRLN there, and also from another company, Pharmagenesis which is working over TCM for anti-fungal candidates. They have an advantage over PRLN, though, in that they have a "big brother", really big--Lilly. Frankly, I have always wondered why PRLN can't land a similar cooperative agreement, even if focused on a single category (e.g., anti-fungals only). Such an announcement by PRLN would cause the share price to double "over night", and is really an important milestone in the growth pattern of start-up biotechs.
