All,

I have a question about the tax implications of the USRX/COMS merger.
Say, I have 100 sh. of USRX. After the merger I guess I will have 175 COMS sh.

Now, If I am holding 100 sh. of USRX for more than a year, and then sell 175 sh. of COMS after the merger, do I get taxed with Long Term Capital Gains or Short Term?

Also, how do I explain in Schedule D that I bought 100 sh. of USRX and sold 175 sh. of COMS?

Anyone ???
