In other words that was how many units places like Macwarehouse, CompUSA, Ingram, Computerware...etc ordered from Apple between Aug 3 and Aug 10th. As you know most of them only got a fraction of their initial orders filled by Apple and have sold out those units.>>
Well, I'm not sure about that, but, Jobs said there are 4200 resellers
in U.S., if Apple had 150,000 units preordered, then each one had an
average of 35 units, that is about right number in each store.
