I'm not suggesting they have hard deadlines just soft ones. It adds a bit of concreteness to all their vague generalities. I just don't see anything wrong with telling investors their goal. You know this, but this company has a history with investors and analysts. The more vague they are about their dealings and their business the less trust there is. One reason I essentially stopped investing in this company was because I was repeatedly promised, by IR, an answer to a question concerning factored receivables and never got one. Believe me, I tried, and I was promised. Frankly, I think Stapleton dropped this company because of the lack of candor, and some analysts refuse to cover it for the same reason. Does it really matter if they stated some idea of when the IPO will occur so at least a goal was in mind? I guess not, and timing doesn't really matter...... after all, you're right, you don't get a CEO at KMart.
