The English language! It's time for a change!!!

Bill Clinton:

It depends on what the definition of 'is' is.

Bill Gates:

when asked whether Microsoft was competing with an Apple Computer Inc. video technology. "Depends on what you mean by compete," Mr. Gates responded.

When a language no longer serves its purpose. When nobody knows what anybody means. It's time for a change.

We can switch to French, or better yet, Chinese. This is a most practical choice because Chinese is already spoken by more than a billion people so fewer people will have to learn it. In addition, with Unicode, the double-byte character set, representation of Chinese characters on computer screen is a non-event.

I have forwarded this proposal to the United Nations.
