More and more the tech economy is looking like the 1960s.

Remember when US auto makers were making the best cars in the 1950s? Then in the 60s quality started lagging. The Japanese auto makers were considered to be copycats and makers of cheap toys.

So right now China has made significant inroads in producing servers, routers, computers, hard drives, phones. Other Asian companies are making chips, solid state memory, screens...

Not looking good long term.
