If you go to the Firefox navigation toolbar and open tools, options, privacy, you will find some neat ways to control those items.
One trick I have found helpful was to install the "Google Bar" in Firefox and then strip it out. I put it on Customize and then moved the ABC check, Autofill and Subscribe to the Bookmark toobar just above it. I then unchecked the google toolbar and just used the buttons in the bookmark toolbar.
The ABC check from that sequence is the best one I have found for checking typing such as this. Good Autofill, although I have done just about all of that I will ever need to do. The subscribe button works well for picking up new blogs to add to bloglines.
The latest extensions I have installed and am using are Adblock plus 07, which when activated, gobbles up any pop-ups that you haven't got eliminated, Hyperwords, which is the best method of copying plus URL at the same time, plus getting pictures, Performancing 1.2, and Gmail skins, for a better looking and functioning Gmail.
Gmail is so much better than any other mail system out there that I don't understand why the others don't match it.
Google notebook is a good extension if you like to make notes and clip items. I also have colorful tabs, Rite of tongue, map this, tab X, define word, image zoom, windows update, tabbrowser preferences and fasterFox, |
