Articles on the '98 Texas low voter turnout, last time Bush was elected governor of Texas. caller.com caller.com Again, one of the reasons why this country elects the same people is low voter turnout. With a famous dad, it's easy to get elected, then re-elected and on and on and on. Again, it remains my contention that George W. Bush, Jr. is a better candidate for state representative than he is president of the United States.
