Metacrawler has an interesting newsgroup feature

This is what comes up if you look for "silicon investor"

x42.deja.com

One of the posts:

"Some do, for example Silicon Investor shows you new messages since you last read a board, and also is able to offer a much better layout and the ability to quickly find the few shares you are interested in rather than having to look through hundreds of postings of no relevance, plus spam.
A Usenet group will have dozens or hundreds of separate threads on each company, many of which will be difficult to find (for example if over a week or so old). I dont find Motley fool too bad (for UK stocks), and use Silicon Investor for US stocks. Usenet cannot duplicate their facilities (additional to chat, such as charts and news all in one place), or be so spam free.
Joe"
