In her last years I went with my Mother to 50 Dr appointments and urgent care visits (the woman was never a hypochondriac or even excessively concerned about her health in her first 70 years). There was literally nothing they could do for her but tinker with her meds. But the bills she racked up, man.

There has to be a better way to deal with the complaints of old age that medical science cannot address or we're all going to drown.

aren't churning out enough physicians to keep up with the growing demand of an aging population.
