The plumber vs the psychologist Have been doing some self reflection and had a good discussion with my wife. I'd like to inform you that I do not have emotional detritus. Also that my wife seems sincerely happy with me. We very rarely have arguments and usually have discussions. I usually take criticisms to heart and ponder how to improve myself, especially criticisms from sincere friends or perhaps people I highly respect such as yourself. You've done a fantastic job at this Amati board and your wit leaves most people in the dust. But in your last reference to me, is it possible that you yourself may have jumped from A to Z in concluding that my reasonings jump from A to Z? As for facts, it is a fact that Amati has lost PairGain, USRobotics, Ascend, PacBell to the competition. How you explain and defend for the management at Amati is up to you. You may be a psychologist, but I'm a plumber. And in my work, with my own eyes, with my friend's eyes, I've seen arrogance harm the best that Amati has to offer the world. Peter Piper (your electronic plumber) P.S. Hope Amati does pull off some big wins so that all this petty squabbling become mere water bubblings under the Amati bridge. Truce?
