Geography Blogs
Coming Anarchy blog
By Curzon on Geography

When ComingAnarchy started 21 months ago, blogging on geography was one of our missions. At that time, there were few geography blogs, but a lot has changed in two years. The advent of free global mapping programs Google Earth and Nasa World Wind, plus the growing popularity of “geography advocates” like Jared Diamond and Harm De Blij has increased popular interest in geography.

First there are two readers with their own blogs: Sun-Bin and Catholicgauze are two regular commenters who frequently blog on geography and maps, Catholicgauze exclusively.

Then there are the three Google Earth blogs: Google Earth Blog, Google Sightseeing, and Ogle Earth. These three blogs focus almost exclusively on the fun things you can do with the Google Earth program.

Two other favorites are The Canadian Cartographic Association and the Map Room. cominganarchy.com
