[Excellent Point For DMT]

To All,

Please read the excellent post from the Westell thread. The
"net net" is that DMT could be advantaged with deployment delay.

DMT range/speed advantage over CAP need to be taken into "economic
consideration" when an RBOC launches ADSL service and hopefully by
then the power issue will be resloved. Good points.

All things being equal, if your an RBOC would you deploy a solution
that reaches 75% of the population or 90% (I don't have exact numbers)?
Would you not wait a month or two. Makes sense to me, especially when
there is not a competitive threat driving immediate deployment.
