Some of the HD's, if not all come with their own Disk Manager which allows you to install LARGER HD's. I have a 20 GB Fujistsu on a MB which takes only 8.4 GB. It is easy to install, the HD comes with a floppy disk all instruction for installation included. I am sure you must keep to 5400 rpm as you need a new HD controller for the faster HD.
