PS: To go long, to go short, to stand on the sidelines, or to head for the doors? It always seems darkest before the dawn, assuming of course the full light of day favors your side. Is it likely that the short-term MSFT investor's hoped for rise in share value may be postponed until the full implications of things come into perspective? In the intermediate-term, will MSFT continue to prosper but begin to sell at a lower PE over the next 24 months? In the long-term, will the unique product franchise survive intact? Should we all be looking elsewhere for the next big thing?
