I didn't know that either. I've hunted several times out there with him and wasn't aware that I needed to be looking for moosies:)

We were coming down the Shell Creek Canyon pass and about 1/2 way down there is a waterfall and stop area where the Wyoming fish and game always sets up in the days before season. Good place to stretch your legs and such. Anyways after talking to them for awhile about where the deer were and herd strength and such I happened to look at the side of their trailer and just burst out laughing.

The guy looks at me with a cocked eyebrow and said, "what is so funny."

I said, "those signs on the side of your trailer."

One was a picture of a moose and it said this is a moose and next to it was a picture of an elk saying this is an elk, don't confuse the two. Then another with a picture of a bighorn and a mule deer saying the same thing. He asked me why I thought they were funny and I said oh come on, there can't be people that can confuse those animals and he replied it happens every year.

I said, " that is really kind of scary."

He said, "Yes it is."
