Well this is a low-potency NMDA antagonist, and has been the subject of a number of pain trials of one sort or another, generally with mixed or poor results.

It's also in high doses (like half a small bottle) a drug that's abused by kids looking for a legal high. At one point it wasn't even available without guaifenesin (which is apparently very unpleasant in high doses) because of abuse potential. According to what I've read it's not much fun and likely none too safe either at these very high doses.
