It has zero to do with "The State". It is a question of how you determine what is true and what is not true. CFC & ozone, smoking & cancer. Nothing to do with "The State". Look up the history of Cato/Milloy and his "science" on smoking, then you will have an idea of his "science" on climate. The reason I used children is simply to see how sure you are of your "science" on 2'nd hand smoking. If in fact you are truly convinced that 2'nd hand smoking poses no risk at all, which I assume is your view given your statements about it, (all a tad oblique I might add, hence my desire to see you clarify them) you should with confidence state that parents who smoke heavily in the home are raising their kids just as safely and with zero additional health risks compared to parents who maintain a smoke free environment for raising their kids.

So which is it? Don't weasel and talk about the State or political claptrap. What my views may be on enforcing anything based on the data is irrelevant.
