tc ed's bootlog tip "Troubleshooting During the Boot (Win9x) --- If Windows fails to boot properly, reboot and press F8 for the Windows StartUp menu, and pick the Logged (\BOOTLOG.TXT) option" and your Boot Log Analyzer for Windows 95/98 from Gemini Affinitas Ltd (v1.22) are both for win9x. :( now us poor win2k folks have to cast about with no direction home, trying to analyze our troubles. i'll see if i can find the win2k equivalent :) mark
