that is a bunch of bull.... elitist john forbes kerry chased a young vc who had already lowered his weapon and ran behind a building where kerry shot & killed the cowering vc. he should have been courts-martialed under the Articles of War...... this is the action for which he got himself a Silver Star with "V" device. The only one ever awarded. just depends upon which citation you read..... the cowering vc was damning so they changed it up a bit beefing it up.... just makes me puke....
