I will be interested to see, after your proposal is accepted and effected, what the Christians will say when some teacher or other, leading the little children in the pledge, inserts "under Allah" or under "Yahweh" or "Reason" or "Gaia" or "The Goddess of Love" or "moi" or "Al Gore." I dare say it will feel to them much as "under God" does to me. (A bit foisting, since I'm an American and this is America.)
