greenspan blew up the bubble with fake productivity numbers and talk of a new era in a faked productivity "miracle."

**Why were the Enrons, the WorldComs, the Global Crossings so corrupt and greedy?**

most people have a price. apparently an extra $200 million, or so, pocket change is hard to say no to - even if illegal activity is required to secure it.

**Why did Arthur Anderson commit obstruction?**

hand was in cookie jar, folks only like personal responsibility for everyone else, not themselves.

**Why would any bank lend Bernie Ebbers a nickle? Why did no one see the huge bubble about to burst?**

many did. i was one. i was laughed at and told i was jealous and to "get on the train."

**Why did the Fed, under the Clinton administration, kill our economy?**

they traded immediate gratification for the hope this would be the first time inhistory a bubble didn't end badly. even if it did, clinton wouldn't be in office, so he didn't give a sh*t b/c it didn't impact him.

**And what was Martha thinking?**

nothing. she was blinded by selfishness.
