Well the media never said much about Black Friday and November sales come out today, at least for WalMart. I heard they are expecting same store sales from WalMart down over 2%. If that is true then it's pretty clear the claimed 3% increase in traffic by Shoptrac and 7% increase in sales by the NRF were complete and total BS (as if there was ever any doubt).
