Most Yankee fans do not dislike the Mets. Met fans are the ones with the bad feelings for the Yankees. The reasons for that are mostly obvious and not worth stating. Once the regular season is over, most New Yorkers, with the exception of the little kiddies pull together and suspend their personal sentiments till the beginning of the following season, especially when one of the teams makes the playoffs.
