this is wrong. The Repub. won because of a "restrictionist" stance. And his demo opposition made a stupid remark about wanting illegals to join her campaign. What it shows is that closing the borders will bring out the Republicans. Bad news for Karl baby. I still don't see the RNC seizing on closing the borders to get the base to the polls. Bashing gay marriage is tired and obvious and not a substitute. Repub. despise the Repub. senate. The Repub. house represents the party, the Senate the plutocrats. Let's see how many Repub. Senators get reelected when their turn comes up. Let's see if McCain can get the nomination. The only way he gets my vote is if Hillary is on the other side and has a real chance of winning. Repub. are still is big trouble when the only reason for voting for them is because they're not Demos.
