I agree. Motorola & texas instruments chips are important ingredients in allowing for an inexpensive car that isn't a gas guzzler. Amati has a very good mid-size car now that people can put on the road, try out, and wealthy businesses can deploy. The volkswagen deployment, however, needs TI & Mot. Alcatel seems to have a good solution coming out with their own .35mm fabrication. The stock price rise on news from GTE was nice, but I believe GTE may also are waiting on the most cost efficient solution before real deployment and contracts. Until then, test trials help organize the market & software development for microsoft.

Wish motorola was more forthcoming with news.

Hope stock retrenchment is mild.
