I haven't read T. Carter's stuff in a while. All of the "resource" guys are blown-up with the exception of Jim Dines, he was smart enough to switch to Internet stocks when the writing was on the wall, and he has done very well.
Because alot of these newsletter guys depend on the stock guys as "patrons" (take that to mean whatever your level of cynicism will let you) it is not often that they will say "get out and stay out!" Even John Kaiser, the "Bottomfishing Report" has been hurt badly with the absolute lack of action in the resource sector, especially since he and Bob Bishop and Brian Fagan among others, bet heavily on the Alberta Diamond play, which went nowhere. Look for whoever gets on the East Lost Hills Play in the Newsletter field, if the Cal Canal or Bellevue become economic, to come out as a leader among the guru's.
Just my two bits worth.
