a person being "RELIGIOUSLY OBSERVANT" does not mean or imply that others who practice that religion are "BAD FOLKS" No, it doesn't. But there is religion, on one hand, and politicized & militant religion, on the other. As it happens there is a strong current of thought running through politicized Islam that makes quite a few young Muslims think that storming the Canadian parliament and beheading the Prime Minister would be a nifty idea. Now, they did not just think this idea up on their own. It has certain antecedants, and all of the antecedants not only call themselves Islamic, but claim to be the one truest form of Islam. I don't think you can ask that the rest of us should just pretend not to notice this.
