Hi jack, if [a rather dim] memory serves, koan picked up a few mmgg just back a few days at the gap-fill ... can't recall him mentioning it before that ... but he's a momo player, no question, lol ... which is fine, when it works

Trouble i always had with momo in the juniors, is that you never know how long it'll last ... and, when you're wrong you can be way wrong ... always had more luck bottom-fishing based on fundamentals and then exercising a little patience, this leads yes to a situation where for possibly some considerable time the @#$%ing thing doesn't move, but hey, it's not moving south much either

Mexican election - [i've been strapped to a toilet for days, had some weird stomach thing, but got read up on things political at the same time, it seemed fitting, lol] - the whole thing won't be decided until the tribunal's deadline 31 august, and possibly not declared until 06 september ... Amlo is calling for a recount, there are arguments for and against it, the biggest one against is the fact that it would break the law [fraud is easier and more likely in a recount than in the original election, was the reason for the legislation] ... he is stirring up his people and filing an 800-page case with the tribunal, none of this will result in his being presidente imho, it's only making him look more like a Chávez than the Lula image he was working hard to promote ... and it is doing damage to democracy in the country, losers have to give it up gracefully and peacefully when they get out-voted, or you will always have trouble ... the euro observers have been pretty clear that the election was valid

As to what effect this will have on our juniors, probably not much at all imho ... keep in mind though that Calderón too will want to see mexicanos in general and locals in particular benefit from developments, to a significant extent ... this is pretty well recognised by any junior to whom i have posed leading questions on it, so as long as they act on their word and treat people well i don't expect to worry about it ... taxes and royalties may well increase in some or all cases, but they will not imho be confiscatory
