Cax,

<< you have a copy of anything about the original claims? >>

I'm sure I do, both hard and soft copy.

When I have time to rummage in the big Qualcomm file draw or file folders on disk dating back to 94. I'd be delighted to clip some off here if you would like when I run across them.

I had a running and rather heated debate with Gus on this subject here some time back and a lot of the early articles on the subject are included by him or me here.

At the time Gus was frothing off, CDG still (unfortunately) still had the long obsolete 4 to 5x GSM claim on their website. What was a little bizarre was that for some time Jim Takach of CDG had been singing a slightly different tune:

"The industry has demonstrated that the capacity of a CDMA network was 10 times greater than for analog cellular networks, and three times greater than for GSM networks."

Gus stuff here from Maurice and I (please note that I properly credited you with finding one of the classic treasures <g>).
