In my little town of El Segundo, which is near the L.A. airport, the ladies at the polling place told me that they were just overwhelmed with voters this morning when the polls opened - 108 voters in an hour. :) Had to have been a record. I live across the street from the polling place and there are no lines. Population is approx 17,000. My guess is that most voted absentee.
