Why does the rightwing think killing and hatred are our only weapons to cure the ills of the world? Was it Jesus Christ who told us to turn the other cheek, bhe tolerant and be peacemakers? And who was it who told us two wrongs don't make a right? Also the Golden Rule. Do unto others. And do you think for a minute that bombing Iran will help anyone but the oil speculators when gasoline goes past $5 a gallon?

Saddam may have done some heinous things, but noiw we can kind of understand why, and the man was defanged and in a tight box. He was not capable of doing us any major harm and had no relation to Al Qaida or 9-11.

But now -- look at the chaos that threatens everything in the region, the latest a Turkey-Kurd war simmering and threatening the only relatively peacefuyl part of Iraq, and our military is not only exhausted it's dangerously damaged for the forseeable future. Plus think of the cost of this debacle. General Sanchez is 100% right. A lot of the disasterous decisions were made sole for Bushie domestic political reasons, for Karl Rove's propaganda machine, to feed the Rusk Limbaugh dittohead base's myths and fantasies, and to distract us all from the huge multi-trillion dollar corporate ripoff taking place which is what Bushies really stand for, and only the top 1% benefit from that. You have lost too, pal. Your own leaders have riped you off personally and you don't even know it.
