Outstanding comments Neeka, I would like to take it a step further and simply say I'm sick and tired of seeing so many Americans using innuendo and heresy evidence to admonish and convict our military personnel, who are this very day risking their lives in this battle against terrorism.

You can disagree with political policy prescriptions until you're blue in the face for all I care, but the fact remains we voted as a nation via our constitutional framework to conduct this war, and we should give our young men and women the benefit of the doubt regarding their methods to succeed.

To do otherwise is often nothing more than clandestine sedition and sometimes treason.

What's even more irritating to me is the people who are most critical have never worn a uniform, and often don't have a bloody clue how our military in today's day and age operates. Yet, they are willing to believe cliché’s spun by Hollywood, or incidents which happened 50-100 years ago to justify their suspicions.

Damn it! Fighting a war is tough enough without our own citizens spinning accusations at our troops at every turn, which often simply benefit our enemies. I'm sick of it! And will simply close by saying, as a newly retired member of the armed forces, I will respond more directly and with greater clarity toward those type of posts then ever before.

So, be prepared Kerry wanna-bees of the world.

Oh, and don't think it went unnoticed the complete lack of congratulations shown by these very same type of people toward our military for killing one of the nastiest terrorists in the world yesterday. The silence would almost make you think it saddened many of them.

Despite the gloom and doom predictions we would need a draft by now, or the arm-chair generals who strategized we would never win a victory in Iraq, progress toward a lasting solution continues at a steady pace. Young American volunteers are making it happen! I'm darn proud of these kids and wish more Americans would realize what they are going through on a daily basis to keep morale high and a strong focus going forward.

They need our support, they do not need to be treated as a political football which gets kicked around every time someone wants to make a 1st down against a political enemy.
