The language really offended me at the start. Not that I don't use it myself at times, especially in my salad days, back in the army. But I have got into the rhythm of the writer's dialogue. That article points out what it is with "Deadwood." It's almost Shakespearean. The guy is one of the best dialogue writers in the world. You become fascinated with the characters. Especially Swearengen. There is nothing like a good villain. I will be rivited to the set tonight.
