Which model, specifically? I haven't had any problems with my 5s.
If you're looking way back to the dark ages, no one forgets " antennagate", but the iPhone 5 also had a slew of issues that were later addressed and the iPhone 5S had some as well that were addressed with a patch, including the lockscreen vulnerabilities. My point was just that the concept of "it just works" certainly doesn't apply to every generation of the iPhone, nor did it apply to many older Android phones, but it is perhaps most fitting for many newer Android phones.

My biggest problems are stupid little things like Sprint loads total crap on the phone like the Nascar Ap that you can't remove and it takes up memory which limits the aps I can use. And the background can't be locked so a slight miss tap and all these backgrounds come up and if you accidentally select one it erases the equivalent of your desktop.
Yikes! I'd be furious if I bought a phone with a preloaded NASCAR app you can't remove. Of course, you *can* remove it, but you shouldn't have to. Which phone do you have, what version of Android, and have you tried a good/modern Android phone that doesn't have the bloatware? I highly suggest you give a short test run (you can do it free) before jumping to an iPhone. You'd probably be blown away by the difference between an old/crappy Android phone and a new reputable one. And you need not spend $750 either.
