RE:Mepci-I am not an accountant-"I made for myself and my clients a bundle on DELL" ( over $41000000 in net realized gains between 1996 through the end of this past year)- I greatly respected MSD et al but do not like being played for a sucker-What now?--well--"It is my sincere belief that if MSD would just take an acceptable for his size company salary and refrain entirely from issuing any furthur stock options too all management-that this ethical move would blow the socks off of the current WS CW (Conventional Wisdom).Perhaphs it would earn DELL an even higher premium PE multilple factor. The past 5 months have greatly inured to the detriment of both WS and DELL!NOW!!!!! is ""HONESTY TIME!""--and thinking "out of the box"- will pay HUGE dividends IMO.---DELL got in trouble big time with currency trading in 1993-94 period and learned a few hard lessons-"my suggestion won't be listened to but there it is".Best wbm
