"What am I missing?" This part. then this suggests a huge performance increase, absolutely phenomenal, that AMD can´t even dream of approaching with A64 X2 even assuming ridiculously optimistic frequency potential. Such suggestions are often cooked. Modern computer architectures just don't allow for quantum jumps between generations.
